To those familiar with church architecture, this has all the signs of the Catholic revival in the Church of England: the aumbry with hanging lamp, large high altar with a triptych reredos (its wings closed for the penitential season of Lent, revealing a plain cross) and riddel posts. However as I found out when attending worship, they are very much a liberal church, as the female priest was looking forward to the forthcoming visit of their female bishop.
