A cul de sac off Station Road that was built in the early 1970s on the site of Henfield station. The close is named after the person who instigated the large scale cuts of the railway network in the 1960s of which the Shoreham-Christ's Hospital line was one. That had opened in 1861 and was closed in 1966.
