Abercynon (identifier ACY) is an unstaffed station on the Merthyr Line 25 km north of Cardiff Central. A few metres northeast of the station, http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5329549 the line to Aberdare diverges from the line to Merthyr Tydfil.
