Looking the other way from close to where Image] was taken. In the foreground is a "guidepost ... circa early C19. Whitewashed granite post" https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1329298 . The side in the sun is the one inscribed "POLPAROW", although to me it looks like "POLPAR" with "row" above it.
