This wall, which belongs to a bungalow on the site of what the mid-20C OS map describes as a meter house, has recently been rebuilt and the datestone incorporated. The datestone is from the Bradford Corporation Water Works service reservoir, originally in a large stone building, on the north side of Halifax Road. The datestone had been painted black, and as much as possible of this coating has been removed; it is intended that the cleaning be completed by sandblasting.
