Etches Close is a smart, newish side-road of affordable housing, built on a previously vacant plot. The street also forms part of public footpath E55, which existed before the development was built, between Western Avenue and Leybourne Avenue. Here, we see its turning off Western Avenue, with Leedam Road opposite.
