The lane to the left goes past the (not very obvious) entrance to the churchyard. The lane to the right goes to Hooksgreen, where Barley Mow is a former public house. The village hall is out of sight on the right. It has a large car park, which can probably used by visitors to the church and to the moated site on Hickman's Hill.
