In 1897,Yorkshireman Frank Green bought this house. It was then three decaying properties. By 1930 the house had been completely remodelled, in a rather eccentric style. Green was a batchelor and never intended the house to be 'cosy'. The house has rooms decorated and furnished in the style of 4 different centuries! Not quite my cup of tea really.
