On the footpath from Nettlestone, once you've macheted your way through the head height stinging nettles and ankle deep mud next to the far stile, comes the plank bridge with the precariously high water levels (It was seeping through the middle) followed by this little pool at the end. Thankfully the busted stile provided enough to utilise as stepping stones. All this in the middle of August too.
