Manchester Opera House, Quay Street

The Manchester Opera House, on Quay Street, is a Grade II listed building (Historic England List Entry Number: 1247470 http://www.heritagegateway.org.uk/Gateway/Results_Single.aspx?uid=1247470&resourceID=5 Heritage Gateway). It is a 1900 seat theatre which opened in 1912 and currently hosts touring musicals, ballet, concerts and a Christmas pantomime. It is the sister theatre to the Palace Theatre, a similar venue in nearby Oxford Street. (Image]).
