Built in 1899-1900, the Category A listed Winter Gardens has been derelict since the 1980s. In the last few years the Council's Land and Environment Services department has cleared vegetation which was taking over the building [http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3259493] and erected a new fence around the site. The Springburn Winter Gardens Trust are hoping to restore the structure.
