Other contributors have identified this building as 'cottages', and that was my first impression, too. The scale is certainly small, but the large windows seem to hint at higher social standing - so my best guess is that this is actually the farmhouse. The situation is fairly isolated, though Warminghurst church stands just a short distance south.
