The Plasterers Arms on the left dates from 1822 and is one of many pubs in Norwich offering a splendid choice of real ales. There were no fewer than 11 pubs on this street in the 1840s and the Sunday School was part of a building that had been a brewery until 1842 when it was taken over by the primitive Methodists.
