These are the backs of houses on Gilmerton Dykes Avenue, standing above the glen through which the Burdiehouse Burn flows. I was planning to photograph the burn itself but not only was it in shade, the banks of it were covered with so much litter and rubbish that I couldn't bring myself to point the lens at it.
