Image], who died in 1873, was well-known as a preacher, and also as the founder of the Ragged Schools in Edinburgh. This was the Edinburgh Industrial Ragged School for girls, opened in 1904. The architects were David McArthy and John Watson. It was later a List D School, and is now the Faith Mission College.This is the main elevation, which faces east on Gilmerton Road. See also Image]
