The milestone was originally located on the A31 at the junction with Nouale Lane. After being badly damaged in 2008, it was repaired and moved in 2016 to the north side of the A31 on Southampton Road, opposite Narrow Lane on the embankment, on the south-west side of the road. Parish of Ringwood (New Forest District). Carved stone post, Romsey rectangle stone design, erected by the Romsey & Ringwood turnpike trust in the 19th century.
