'Cumbria House' in Botchergate, opened autumn 2016. In order to save on running costs, the number of Cumbria County Council offices in Carlisle has been reduced from 22 to 2 (here and Kingmoor Park). A row of 19th century buildings previously on the site were demolished - see Image .
