I've been unable to discover when the original Springfield Primary School in Sale was demolished and replaced by a new modern buildings but they have managed to preserve a small part of the old building in the form of the INFANT GIRLS entrance. Whether it originally overlooked the Bridgewater Canal or has been moved I cannot say.
