One of two stations on the national railway network named Garth, this one is on the Maesteg Line between Ewenny Road station and Tondu station. Garth, station code GMG, is classified F2, the lowest category, which indicates a small unstaffed station with fewer than 100,000 passengers boarding or leaving a train per year.
