This week in mid-August was decidedly changeable, and the harvest that had been in full swing the previous week had had to be put on hold. However, this field has been cleared, ploughed and cultivated, all by 16th August: perhaps it had not grown a grain crop. Incidentally, at this point, it was raining hard.
