Railway bridge, Wood Lane in Battyeford

This stone and blue brick arch bridge carries the Calder Valley Greenway over Wood Lane at the junction of Helme Lane in Battyeford. Between 1910 and 1968, it carried the Midland Railway's 8Km Newtown Goods Extension from Mirfield Junction to Newtown Goods Station in Huddersfield.
