Narrowboat "Emu" No 18 was built in 1926 at Yarwoods, and has been fully refurbished in 2011. It retains its Bolinder 15hp engine, which smokes and chunters throatily! http://hnbc.org.uk/boats/emu Beyond the boat is Glascote Top Lock, near Tamworth. Today, "Emu" is carrying a consignment of coal towards Coventry.
