Brook Lane Railway Bridge is being completely rebuilt as part of Network Rail's multi-billion pound railway upgrade plan. The work, which involves completely demolishing the old bridge is not expected to be completed until June 2017. The closure of Brook Lane is causing large scale disruption throughout Chester especially at peak periods as this is an important through route.
