Bowbrick?s Cottage and Stream Cottage

Bowbrick’s Cottage is recorded as being one of the earliest surviving buildings in Bramley. Gertrude Jekyll, who lived in Bramley from 1848-68,wrote about this cottage and Edward Bowbrick, an agricultural labourer, and his wife Sarah who lived in this cottage at the time of the 1861 census. They were both listed as being aged 67 in 1861.
