Replacing a 17th century original, probably built in 1611, this was built in 1806 and renovated in 2015 as a Millenial celebration (delayed while the ownership was determined) This is a grade II listed building (https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1300780 ) and the history appears on the village web site (http://www.deddington.org.uk/?a=304 )
