Opened in November 1939 by the Great Western Railway on the line from Cardiff to Bridgend, this station closed in September 1961. View east from a passing train. The unadvertised station was built to serve the Royal Ordnance Factory at Bridgend, now Bridgend industrial estate, on the other side of the train.
