'For God and Ulster' has long been a slogan and a motto for many Ulster protestants. The owner of this chip shop in a predominantly protestant part of East Belfast, has used an amusing variation of this slogan in naming his premises. This is a sign of the change in attitudes in the past year. This kind of depiction, showing Ian Paisley 'sitting down', let alone eating with, Gerry Adams would, until recently, have been unthinkable. Image
