The permanent exhibition on the top floor has displays showing the progress of design, for example one progression has typewriters and computers, another has clocks. There are displays showing manufacturing methods, from a lightweight chair using traditional-looking wood to 3D computer printing using extruded plastic. This view also shows how the top floor exhibits are within the parabolic roof space, the massive beams coming down to the floor level of this top floor.
