A sign like this stands over a footpath outside Peterborough railway station, indicating the beginning of a quiet, step free route to the city centre and cathedral. It was something of a surprise to see one here, at a suburban shopping centre, indicating the beginning of a 2¾ mile walking route to the city centre.
