Chapels, Hove Cemetery

There are in fact two here separated by the arch, the northern side is for non-conformists whilst the southern is for Church of England. Designed in house by Hove council who subsequently cut costs by reducing the size of the spire over the central arch. Opened with the cemetery in 1882. Hove Cemetery consists of two parts, the original section south of Old Shoreham Road that was first consecrated in 1882 and a second to the north of the road that opened in 1923 as an extension
