Next to the Image in the Deddington Arms is this painting of a dog The plaque next to it reads "Dogs V Dogs Each year a team from the Deddington Original Golf Society (DOGS) and a team from Dorchester on Thames Golf Society (DOGS) meet in a matchplay competition. The winning team wins the DOG and has the honour of displaying this picture, kindly donated by local artist Viv O'Donnell. Many thanks, Viv"
