Dee House was built around 1730 as a town house. In the 19th century it became a convent school and in the 1970's was used as an office building by British Telecom. Dee House has now been sold to Daniel Thwaites plc to be developed into a hotel, restaurant and bar. Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dee_House
