Looking across Exeter Road towards the new cinema and restaurant complex occupying the former NCP car park (Image), the site of the bus station before it burnt down in the 1970s. Hitherto known as the West Central complex, it is apparently officially called BH2, after its postcode. In the last couple of weeks, the cinemas on Westover Road have closed in readiness for the move here, and at least one of the eateries, TGI Fridays, has already opened. Clearly there are still some finishing touches - most obviously signage - but the cinemas are due to open in the first week of February.
