A stream flows below the trees in the hedgerow on the left, it is a tributary of Bow Brook which flows into the River Avon just downstream from Eckington Bridge, approximately 11km (as the crows flies) to the south. Here the field is viewed from the road between Broughton Hackett and Churchill.
