Merville Garden Village (usually just “Merville”) was built in 194749 and is the best known of the Ulster Garden Villages. A sizeable development, of several hundred houses and flats, in the grounds of Merville House, all streets, which are branches off a long loop, have the postal address “Merville Garden Village”. This part is just to the north east of the Longwood Road.
