A residential street linking Kingsway, the A259, to King's esplanade on the seafront. Built in the 1850s and originally lined both sides with cottages, however, numbers 5-11 were demolished in 1893 to make way for Hove Baths and Laundry which itself was demolished in the 1970s and replaced by the current block of flats, Bath Court.
