The terrace is located between Third and Fourth Avenues and was built in the 1880s and was considered highly upmarket when built. Number 8 on the right was once the home of Arthur Sassoon, friend of Edward VII who stayed here on three occasions during his reign. King's Lawns in the foreground was originally a private enclosed for the residents of King's Gardens.
