Built in 1899 to serve as retirement dwellings for ageing Sheffielders. There are I think eighteen houses in total, a warden's house and a community room. George Woofindin was a successful Sheffield cutlery manufacturer and benefactor. He died on June 21st 1895. The complex is Grade II listed.
