The tree is on the east side of Risca War Memorial. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5249791 A small plaque alongside the trunk shows THIS TREE WAS PLANTED IN REMEMBRANCE OF THOSE FROM THE RISCA AREA WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE BOER WAR.
