Bear Cross Avenue is an odd shape, resembling a squashed number '8' without the central joining bar. Just here, we see it as it approaches a public footpath onto the main Magna Road - the path meanders through a grass clearing between the houses, coinciding with the course of overhead power lines. See Image for the view towards us from midway along the path ahead, and Image for the start of another similar footpath continuing along the same course behind us (essentially the central bar of the figure-of-8). Each photo has links to further photos along the paths.
