After miles (or kilometres) of straight Roman Road, drivers need three reminders to Give Way! Plus a chequered-pattern barrier straight ahead. The first is at 400 yards; the second one warns at precisely 142 yards away! Image To enter a 50 m.p.h. zone just before the junction might be thought a tad confusing.
