Viewed across Malvern Road. Christ Church, part of the Church of England Diocese of Gloucester, was built during 1837-1840. There were later additions and alterations, mainly in 1888-1889. The church's website records that "Most unusually, Christ Church was built before the surrounding houses". The building was Grade II Star listed in 1955.
