One of the three local Godwin mansions, built for family members from the prosperity created by the brick and tile works at Withington and Lugwardine. The house was built in 1875, possibly by G.C. Haddon and was formerly known as Rosebank. The house is still a family home. The entrance gatepiers have Godwin tile roundel inserts depicting the four seasons - Autumn and Winter shown here, along with a fine example of Victorian ironwork.
