Memorial to RAF and civilian personnel who lost their lives at nearby Defford airfield or on flights that tested wartime radar equipment from Defford as a base. My late father was one of those who developed radar equipment at Malvern, nearby. The memorial was unveiled by Sir Bernard Lovell who also worked at Malvern during WW2
