This track near Crane's Corner crosses the line of an old railway and stretches into the distance. Noel Coward's slight on Norfolk in "Private Lives" may refer to this kind of landscape, which is typical of some parts of Norfolk only. If you really want flat, you need to go to the fens of Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire! See also Image
