Building work has started on the multi-million pound re-development of Leicester City Council's former New Walk Centre headquarters site, which was demolished on 22 February 2015. Image The new mixed use development will comprise 50,000 square feet of office space, 54 new homes, and a small amount of retail space including restaurants. The two acre site has a completion date of October 2017.
