The stable block at Hesslewood House (also known as Hesslewood Hall) was built for the original house on the Hesslewood Estate. The sundial bears the date 1765 and the initials of Joseph Pease. In 1920 the stables became an outbuilding to an orphanage, after 1985 a hotel, later a residential home and, today the Hesslewood Office Park.
