Not colleges in the educational sense, "Bromley College was founded in 1666 by the Will of John Warner, Bishop of Rochester to provide housing for “twenty poore widowes of orthodoxe and loyall clergiemen.” http://www.bromleyandsheppardscolleges.com/history/ The colleges are still used for the housing of retired churchmen and women and their families. Not a brilliant picture as the light was almost gone, but so far it seems to be the only Geograph of this fine Grade 1 listed building.
