Located on the corner of Tynewydd Terrace and High Street. As part of the Newbridge Town Centre Regeneration project, the Hallelujah Lamp resulted from community discussions. The Lamp is near the site of an old gas lamp formerly located outside the Newbridge Hotel http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5226273, around which the people of the town met to sing hymns or for community events. The Hallelujah Lamp has created a similar place for local people to gather for special community events.
