Now operated by the Dean Forest Railway as a heritage service, this railway was once part of a bewilderingly complex network of lines that served the industry of the forest. There is very little left, but at least this section, seen here leading away from the main centre at Norchard, has been preserved, capturing something of the old atmosphere of the district. A Western Region lower quadrant signal protects the junction.
